iPhone is a smartphone that uses Apple's iOS mobile operating system software which is designed and marketed by the same Apple Inc. The first set of iPhone was released on June 29,2007. The smartphone can connect to cellular and it has a Wi-Fi. An iPhone like other smartphone can take photos, shoot video, play music, receive and send email, receive and send text messages, browse through the net, record and more. With help of downloaded mobile apps it can perform some functionality like video game, reference work, social networking and others vital work.
First generation of iPhone was a GSM phone and later the iPhone 3G added 3G network and was immediately followed by a 3GS with improved hardware, then the 4G with a metal chassis and a higher display resolution and it front camera, a 4GS with an improved hardware better than the previous one and the company continued to improve their smartphone product. As at September 2018, the company released 3 new iPhones which are the iPhone XS.
The iPhone is now among one of the widely used smartphone following the beautiful fame structure and incredible features. Since the introduction of iPhone, which is known as the revolutionary and game changer of the mobile phone industry.
The development of the now iPhone started in 2004, when Apple started to bring together 1,000 employees which include the designer behind the iMac and iPod Jonathan Ive to work on the highly confidential " Project Purple".
According to the Apple CEO Steve Jobs, the "i" word stands for internet, individual, instruct, inform and inspire.
