Nigeria imports billions of naira worth of fish annually despite having the natural resources for domestic production. Crop yields remain below global averages despite fertile land. Post-harvest losses destroy food that could feed millions.

These are not new problems. They've persisted for decades while foreign consultants cycle through, deliver reports, and leave. The solutions proposed are often expensive, impractical, or designed for conditions that don't exist here.

What Africa needs is not more imported frameworks. It needs innovation built from the ground up by people who understand local challenges because they live them.
